Our Story

I began my career in real estate and notary services in 2003, quickly realizing that homeownership was especially challenging for Black women. This experience ignited my passion for helping others navigate complex systems and achieve their goals.

Over the years, I continued to grow professionally, earning certifications in loan processing and notary services, along with a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Business Administration. I spent 20 years as Director of Operations, creating training programs and supporting professionals in building their careers.

Life taught me the importance of resilience. A personal challenge — divorce and the sudden loss of long-term employment — highlighted how crucial it is to build systems that protect your assets and secure your future.

From this experience, SMB Professional Services was born. My mission is simple: to educate, empower, and provide a clear path for others to build the life they want — and protect it. Whether guiding clients through business, real estate, or personal growth, I am dedicated to helping individuals and families seize opportunities, overcome challenges, and create lasting security.
